Други / What is a tax reference number UK?
« -: Април 29, 2025, 03:00:40 pm »
The tax reference number uk usually means your PAYE reference as used by HMRC to identify your tax and National Insurance payments by your employer. The employer is assigned when an employer registers with HMRC and is necessary for when employees communicate with HMRC or do self assessments. You should usually find it on your payslip or on official tax documents such as a P45 or a P60. This figure is not the same as your Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) if you’re self employed or a sole trader, as this will be different.
